JUNIOR ROCK CLIMBING PROGRAM

for ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS [Ages: 6-10]

Do you have kids in elementary school with lots of energy who seem to be climbing anything and everything?
The UNB Rock and Ice Climbing Club provides a SAFE and FUN environment for elementary school students to learn more about rock climbing. Our program teaches basic climbing techniques that will improve on strength, hand-eye coordination, and stamina.

Dates: Begins January 25th 2009 and finishes on April 5th, 2010 (10 classes in total)

When: Classes are held Mondays from 4 PM to 5 PM
Where: UNB Rock and Ice Climbing Gym (Lady Beaverbrook Gym – UNB)
Cost: $150/participant (ask about our family deal)

Regular Class Format:
4:00-4:15 – Free Climb
4:15-4:20 – Group Stretching
4:20 -4:50 – Weekly Activity
4:50-5:00 – Free Climb/Training/Stretch




The Program will be led by local climbers, who are happy to share their own techniques and stories with the kids.
